DIY 12x24 Horse Shelter Kit (4-Rail)

Protect your horse from the rain and harsh sun with a shelter that’s stronger, easier to install, and more affordable than ever. Our shelter kits are designed for a simple DIY installation—no need to hire an expensive metal fabricator. What sets our shelters apart is the use of Z-purlins for the trusses, making them significantly stronger than typical clamp-on shelters. In fact, our shelters are built to support the weight of a person standing on the roof, ensuring superior durability and stability.

Will This Thing Fly Away In The Wind?

No! All of our Horse Shelter Kits will come with our specially-designed ground posts that you can cement into the ground. These ground posts can be easily unbolted at the point of attachment so that this structure is not considered to be permanently concreted or attached to the ground.

The bare metal panels will get the same patina/surface rust as the oil pipes that all working ranches use. Bare metal orders are normally made to order and may require longer production lead times. If you don't want the rustic-look, then go with our powder coated panels.

CLASS C POWDER COATING

Durable and cost-effective finish though not as strong as Class A. Minor scratches, chips, and blemishes are common. Additional scratches can occur during transit, touch-up paint available if needed.
