This shelter kit feature 5-rail panels, reducing the space between rails to help prevent horses from sticking their heads through and rubbing off their manes. Designed for a simple DIY installation, there’s no need to hire an expensive metal fabricator. What sets our shelters apart is the use of Z-purlins for the trusses, making them significantly stronger than typical clamp-on shelters. In fact, our shelters are built to support the weight of a person standing on the roof, ensuring superior durability and stability.

Color: Choose from bare metal/rustic or powder coated Dapple Grey. *Bare metal/Rustic will gain surface rust if not coated* Custom colors available.
Our powder-coating is a "B-Class" coating that is found on most tractors, pumps, tools, trailers, and etc.
We normally always keep the powder-coated option in stock at all times. If you need bare metal, there could be a longer lead time.

The bare metal panels will get the same patina/surface rust as the oil pipes that all working ranches use. If you don't want the rustic-look, then go with our powder coated panels.
Will This Thing Fly Away In The Wind?
No! All of our Horse Shelter Kits will come with our specially-designed ground posts that you can cement into the ground. These ground posts can be easily unbolted at the point of attachment so that this structure is not considered to be permanently concreted or attached to the ground.
